Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Services:

The Service Provider agrees to provide cleaning services to the Customer as outlined in the agreed-upon proposal or work order. This may include but is not limited to general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, and other related cleaning tasks.

2. Service Schedule:

The parties will agree upon a regular cleaning schedule, including the days and times when the cleaning services will be performed. Any changes to the schedule must be communicated in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

3. Payment Terms:

Hourly Rate:   The hourly rate for the cleaning services provided by the Company is $55 per employee per hour.

Service Fees and Payment:   The Customer shall pay the agreed-upon service fees as specified in the proposal or work order. Payment terms and methods will be outlined in the invoice provided by the Service Provider. Payment shall be made on time, and any late payments may incur additional charges or penalties.

Booking and Cancellation:

a) Booking: The Customer can request cleaning services by contacting Top to Bottom Cleaning Services & Co through the provided communication channels.

b) Cancellation: If the Customer wishes to cancel the scheduled cleaning service, they must do so at least 24 hours before the agreed-upon appointment time. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service fee.

Access to Home:   If the Customer does not provide access to the home at the agreed-upon appointment time, the Customer will be charged the full-service fee that was scheduled. The Company will wait for a reasonable period for access to be provided, but if unable to perform the service, the full scheduled service fee will still be due.

Payment Methods:   Top to Bottom Cleaning Services & Co accepts payment bank transfer

Payment Due Date:   All payments for regular cleaning services shall be due on the day of service. The Customer is required to make the payment immediately upon completion of each cleaning visit.

Late Payment Fee:   In the event that the Customer fails to make payment on the day of service, a late payment fee of 15% shall be applied to the outstanding balance. This late payment fee is intended to compensate the Service Provider for the inconvenience and administrative costs incurred due to late payments.

Cancellation of Future Services:  If the Customer fails to make payment for cleaning services provided by the Service Provider on two or more occasions, the Service Provider reserves the right to cancel any future cleaning services scheduled for the Customer.

Reinstatement of Services:  To reinstate future cleaning services after cancellation due to late payments, the Customer must settle all outstanding payments, including any late payment fees accrued, in full before the Service Provider resumes services.

4. End of Lease/ Once Off Cleans:

The Customer agrees to make full prepayment for all end of lease cleans and once-off cleans before the scheduled service date. The prepayment amount shall be determined based on the agreed-upon service fees for each specific cleaning service.

Service Quote and Assessment:

The Service Provider shall conduct a thorough assessment of the property before providing the Customer with a detailed quote. The quote shall outline the service fee and scope of work required for the end of lease cleaning. It is the responsibility of the Customer to request and agree to the provided quote before the cleaning service commences. In the event a quote cannot be conducted at the choice of the customer, the Service Provider cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies in the amount of time needed to complete the job.

Customer’s Right to Decline Additional Time:

In the event that the Service Provider requires additional time beyond the initial quote to complete the end of lease cleaning service, the Customer has the right to decline the additional time. If the Customer chooses to decline the additional time, the cleaning works will be left incomplete, and the Service Provider shall not be held accountable for any aspects of the cleaning service that were unable to be completed within the original estimated time.

5. Quality of Service:

The Service Provider shall perform all cleaning services with professionalism and to the best of their ability. If the Customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, the Customer shall notify the Service Provider within 24 hours of service completion, and the Service Provider will rectify the issue promptly.

6. Insurance and Liability:

The Service Provider agrees to carry adequate liability insurance to cover any damages or losses caused by the actions of its employees during the provision of cleaning services. However, the Customer is responsible for securing insurance coverage for any valuable items on the premises.

7. Confidentiality:

The Service Provider and its employees shall treat all information obtained during the cleaning service as confidential and shall not disclose any sensitive information to third parties.

8. Safety and Security:

The Service Provider will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and security of the Customer’s premises during the cleaning service. The Customer shall provide access to the premises during the scheduled cleaning times.

9. Termination:

Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any of the terms and conditions outlined herein. The Service Provider may terminate the Agreement if the Customer fails to make timely payments.

10. Non-Solicitation:

During the term of this Agreement, the Customer shall not directly or indirectly solicit or hire any employees of the Service Provider.

11. Dispute Resolution:

In the event of any dispute arising from this Agreement, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through amicable negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties may seek mediation or arbitration as an alternative to litigation.

12. Governing Law:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Entire Agreement:

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, whether oral or written.

By accepting these terms, the Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Customer Service Agreement.
